Pick and mix is loose food

Pick and mix is weighed out and packed by hand, so traces of other sweets in the same order cannot be ruled out, even where a sweet itself contains none of the 14 allergens.

Colours, liquorice and hard sweets

Some colours used in sweets must carry the warning "may have an adverse effect on activity and attention in children". Sweets made with liquorice extract say "contains liquorice". Hard boiled sweets are not suitable for children under 3.

Each sweet shows the warnings that apply to it when you open it in the shop.
